Aujourd’hui, c’est rangement, lavage, ménage, tri et départ. Nous mettons
une lessive, la marina a deux grandes machines puis nous travaillons. Jens dans
le moteur et ensuite il met l’hélice défectueuse dans une caisse et va l’envoyer
au représentant du fabricant d’hélice en Grèce qui lui va l’envoyer en
Angleterre si c’est nécessaire. Moi, je fais le ménage partout et quand j’ai
fini je recouds un coussin déchiré. Nous travaillons sans arrêt de 9 h à 14 h.
Lunch rapide et nous allons boire une bière chez le voisin hollandais. Il a vu
l’agent qui vend le bateau et représente le vieux couple anglais qui le vend.
Robert a donc les clés et inspecte tout le bateau. Il ne s’est pas encore décidé
s’il va l’acheter ou non. Nous, nous avons presque fini, il ne nous reste plus
qu’à retirer les deux drapeaux (le norvégien et le drapeau de courtoisie grec)
et mettre la bâche sur Hera II. A 17 h nous partons. Je pensais que nous irions
à Preveza mais Jens me dit que ce serait mieux de partir vers le sud directement.
Preveza représente un détour. OK, nous partons donc vers le sud. Je conduis,
tant qu’il fait jour ça va mais à la nuit tombante c’est plus difficile. La
route n’est pas toujours bordée d’une bande blanche et les voitures venant en
face éblouissent, mais plus loin nous prenons l’autoroute et là ça va. Nous
arrivons à Mesolongi à 19 h. Jens a retenu une chambre et nous y arrivons sans
problème. C’est plus qu’une chambre, c’est un petit appartement. C’est bien
pour 40 € (400 kr). Mais il est situé dans un quartier neuf inachevé et encore
plein de terrains vagues et de poubelle. Nous allons à pied vers le centre et
trouvons une pizzeria fort sympathique. Ensuite blog pour moi et sismologie
pour Jens. Nous nous couchons tôt.

Today, it's tidying up, washing, cleaning, sorting and
leaving. We put in a laundry, the marina has two large machines and then we
work. Jens in the engine and then he puts the faulty propeller in a crate and
sends it to the propeller manufacturer's representative in Greece who will send
it to England if necessary. I clean everything and when I'm done I sew up a
torn pillow. We work nonstop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Quick lunch and we go to
have a beer at the Dutch neighbor's. He saw the agent who sells the boat and
represents the old English couple who sell it. Robert therefore has the keys
and inspects the entire boat. He has not yet decided whether to buy it or not.
We are almost done, we just have to remove the two flags (the Norwegian and the
Greek courtesy flag) and put the tarp over Hera II. At 5 p.m. we leave. I
thought we would go to Preveza but Jens tells me it would be better to go
straight south. Preveza is a detour. OK, so we're heading south. I drive, as
long as it's daylight it's fine, but after dark it's more difficult. The road
is not always lined with a white stripe and the cars coming in front are
dazzling, but later we take a motorway and there it is OK. We arrive in
Mesolongi at 7 p.m. Jens has booked a room and we get there without problem. It's
more than a room, it's a small apartment. It’s nice for 40 € (400 kr). But it
is located in a new, unfinished neighborhood still full of vacant lots and
trash. We walk towards the center and find a very nice pizzeria. Then blog for
me and seismology for Jens. We go to bed early.
